On late September, the server that hosted AniBlogTracker had its solid state drive failed. Since AniBlogTracker was in its prerelease stage (beta), I didn’t set up backups, so the database got reset.
If your site was on AniBlogTracker, it might not be there as I need to rebuild the site list. However, everything with AniBlogTracker is now hosted on its own server seperate from my personal server that is only used for Sakurajima projects. With the hosts separate and the database being backed up properly now, this should not be an issue in the future.
Some changes have been made when I rebuild AniBlogTracker. There is now a dedicated updates section, which allow you to keep track of new changes and developments on AniBlogTracker. There is also a bunch of backend fixes and improvements and social links added to the sidebar.
Additionally, search is now improved as it uses the full content when storing the posts. The full content is not publicly accessible via the API and only used for search purposes to prevent use for AI training. Anubis is now set up again to prevent AI bot scraping. More sites will be added over time in the coming weeks.
More changes will be made at the end of the year, primarily implementing account and subscription support, meaning you will be able to follow blogs from this web application. Eventually, there will be a dedicated macOS and iOS native app for AniBlogTracker. (Sorry, no Android since I don’t use Android, but API documentation will become available if anyone wants to build a third party one)
